In the most well known of those leadership experiences, I was the Director of Sales for the "Great American Outdoor Adventure" when a tragic plane crash at Paine Field killed the two company founders and three corporate officers. We lost our funding and were faced with almost certain failure. We became the second largest company in the industry with an employee experience that rivaled Nordstrom in employee motivation and appreciation.
